In a nutshell, it just forwards SMS from your phone to Telegram.
Why?
Well let’s say you have a phone and for some reason you left at home. And you need to access a 2-factor authentication website, with help of SMS to Telegram you can receive OTP on your telegram, on a desktop or web telegram.
Is it secure?
Yes, The App forwards your SMS directly to your Telegram, no proxy servers are in between. The project is open sourced. Github
However, sending an SMS from your telegram goes through our Servers. This was done because it’s not technically possible to identify your device, unless its registered on our servers. This option is totally optional you can skip it.
